ASSEMBLAGE:
A Concert of Music Featuring Rare and Intriguing Instruments

Focused on the theme of renewal and healing, this concert will explore musical compositions for women’s chorus accompanied by an assemblage of rare and interesting instruments. New and old works will be performed in ways you can’t imagine. Our featured artist is multi-instrumentalist Neil Nayyar, a talented young musician who can play over 100 instruments from around the world. It will be a night of rare and interesting music you have never experienced: a mixing and reimagining of world instruments and choral music for women’s voices. A pre-concert talk will precede the performance.

Neil Nayyar, multi-instrumentalist

Neil Nayyar is a remarkable 17-year-old composer and musician who can play over 120 different instruments from around the world. He has two world records for playing the maximum Instruments at a young age. He has been featured on Premium Channel Good Morning America, the National Talk Show Jennifer Hudson Show, Sacramento Bee, and two Honda Commercials. He is in the process of releasing his first Debut Album, “Breaking Barriers,” which will be out very soon, and along with the album, he is releasing his first book, “Passion to Exploration of 107 Sound Machines”. He is a Film composer as well, currently working on three movies. Last week, he got selected to attend the Grammy Camp in Los Angeles. More recently, he was nominated for the Josie Music Award in the category of “Best Musician of the Year.”
